I swapped out the model for hardware I salvaged from my Flsun i3 plus kit. The legs rely on round headed M5x25 screws and M5 hex nuts, while tops remain secured with the same M4 hardware as the original build. To avoid gluing anything in place, I added a plastic washer that fits snugly after the M5 nut to keep it secure. Each component fits together tightly, requiring considerable force to insert the hardware - a deliberate design choice. For extra stability, I also applied a small amount of craft foam to the underside of each foot to prevent slipping and sliding.
