Originally designed for a MendalMax 2, this insert can be fitted onto any 20mm extrusion. It fits into the center of Makerstoolworks filament spools and rides on the pin that crosses the two uprights. The design is simple and effective. For printing, since aesthetics aren't important, you can use a 0.3mm layer height with just two outside loops and 25% infill. To speed up the process, increase the print speed.
