This is a custom designed ball joint mount for use with a 120 mm fan on a MandelMax 1.5 printer, as well as other printers utilizing similar extrusions. The two precision engineered ball joints make it incredibly versatile and adjustable, with an extended reach that allows for greater positioning options. By incorporating additional Ball2 Parts, the overall length can be further customized to suit individual needs. This innovative mount was inspired by remixed components from a separate project (find the original on the right), enabling adaptability and versatility in its installation. The mounting points can be strategically placed anywhere on the frame, as seen in the example provided above, optimizing airflow during high-speed PLA printing. With this design, you'll have greater control over fan speeds, allowing for smoother operation and improved results. Look out for a companion 80 mm bracket release, planned for future development.
