The new design, compatible with Mendel90, replaces the Y-belt bearing holder and introduces a two-piece structure for easy Y-belt tensioning, similar to the X-belt. This innovative design maintains compatibility with existing bearings, washers, and securing pieces. It eliminates the use of an M4 screw by 'hugging' around the Dibond edge. A screw secures the tensioner base and slider, allowing for easy belt tightening or loosening. Currently, a bulldog clip arm is used to set distance between parts for convenient belt retensioning.
