The original mendel90 X-ends may have slicing issues due to a possible OpenSCAD bug, but I modified them for easier printing. To avoid bridges in Kisslicer, I created three variants: 1) the original design without the Z nut issue, 2) with a bottom-placed Z nut, and 3) an old M90 style. I also recommend using Z-insulators (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:45454) for effective Z-banding removal. Before printing, ensure to replace the original x-end.scad with your chosen variant. Simply follow these steps: 1) select your preferred design, 2) rename it as 'x-end.scad', and 3) replace the existing x-end.scad file. I have uploaded an example STL file for a 10mm rod X-idler bracket.
