The RepRap Mendel variant features a frame constructed from two sheets at right angles. This is an early version; for updates, refer to https://github.com/nophead/Mendel90. Detailed instructions can be found on http://hydraraptor.blogspot.com/2011/12/mendel90.html, featuring an 8mm rod version with NEMA17 motors, T5 belts, and an acrylic frame. The latest version utilizes an aluminium composite DiBond frame available as a full kit. All source files, STLs for various sizes are on Github at https://github.com/nophead/Mendel90, including bills of materials for each sub assembly. For instructions on this version, visit the RepRap wiki; for the DiBond version, refer to the detailed build manual at https://github.com/nophead/Mendel90/blob/master/dibond/manual/Mendel90_Dibond.pdf. The base sheet requires a 10mm acrylic design, while the rest of the frame requires 6mm. To print, use: 10 fixing-block.stl, 2 z-screw_pointer.stl, 4 z-coupling.stl, 2 pulley.stl, and one of all other STL files. Vitamins.txt lists all mechanical parts.
