I'm thrilled to showcase this unassuming yet effective spool holder design, specifically crafted for the Mendel90 Printer courtesy of Nophead's ingenious vision. The good news is that you can easily repurpose a ball bearing from the original spool holder - what a wonderful instance of reuse and recycling! Furthermore, all you'll need is a sturdy rod to complete this build; I opted for a robust 16mm aluminium rod, which just so happens to provide ample space for up to five filament spools at any given time. Interestingly, it's also worth noting that this design appears to function quite smoothly without the necessity of bearings altogether!
