This new clamp simplifies Y-axis belt tension adjustment without bed removal. The standard clamp secures one end of the belt on the Y chassis, while the other end passes through the new clamp's gap and loops back. Tighten the cap to secure it in place. Secure the whole assembly to the carriage with two 3mm cap screws and nylocks. Push the ram through the loop where the belt doubles back and tighten a 4mm cap screw to adjust tension. An alternative design without the ram might be simpler but untested. Assemble, clean, and tighten components as instructed for optimal functionality.
