Mendel with increased printing height

The Mendel Angle project arose from the need to enhance my Mendel Legacy printer's printing height without altering numerous components. I increased the angle of the downward corners of the side triangles, and kept the Z motor mounds unchanged. To achieve this, it was necessary to modify the four lower vertexes and two upper vertexes. The Y motor mount, which is fixed on the tilted threaded rods, also required adjustment. Additionally, four longer threaded rods were needed. I based my project on the scad files by Josef Prašák, available from RepRapPro organisation. To experiment with different angles and height increases, I created a scad file named mendel_angle_project.scad. The file allows users to adjust the angle and height increment. Two STL files were supplied: mendel_angle_project_60 (original Mendel Legacy) and mendel_angle_project_68 (with a 68-degree angle and 65mm additional height). To ensure proper functioning, all files in the Zip folder must be located in the same directory as mendel_angle_project.scad. Netfabb Basic, an STL viewer, can be used to measure the length of threaded rods in the new situation. The STL files for the modified components are also provided.
