I'm updating my existing joint for a more compact printer setup. It smoothly glides a sturdy rod inward to achieve enhanced stability and a significantly reduced printer footprint, without compromising on print capacity. Functions optimally with PLA material. The part is designed to work with either one or both of the provided M3 screw slots; its rigidity ensures it holds firm in place. For effortless access and aesthetic balance, I've positioned the screws symmetrically, given that the component doubles as a mirrored piece. Hopefully this improved design benefits some users building their own printers.
