Introducing a new design for Mendel springs made of soft PLA to replace those printed in ABS. Due to their brittleness, standard Mendel springs lose their springiness when squeezed too hard; hence, this alternative design. However, soft PLA itself is springy, so the spring's firmness was compromised. Thus, a new design of soft PLA spring was created that's both firm and springy without breaking under pressure. The initial design wasn't satisfying enough when printed with soft PLA, but mirrored versions are fantastic. More details available at ifeelbeta.de. Greetings, BonsaiBrain.
