Replace the Z-axis weight load with couplings; use clamp alternatives on smooth rods. Insert a 608 bearing into a cup, and attach end caps to the z-threaded bar. Alloy flexible couplings are ideal if they don't bear much weight; even more useful for large X-axis motors. The SCAD code is temporary and may not scale well, but it works for standard Prusa II iterations. Enlarged cup hole to prevent threaded rod end stop grinding.
