This Prusa filament spool dispenser offers efficient and quick reel changes. The frame top clamp easily attaches without tools, while the reels fit snugly into the receivers on top of each pole. To minimize noise, you can add a filament guide at the bottom. This design works well even with the printer head at extreme x-axis positions. To print the parts, use the first STL file for all support frame components. Customize the spool ends and spacers based on your reel supplier. Additionally, require two 200mm threaded rods for upstands and one 150mm rod for the axle, along with eight nuts and washers. Tap the rod tops to M8 or your threaded rod size, then screw them onto the respective rods. Assemble the filament guide, frame top clamps, and attach the assembly to your printer's top frame before final tightening. Ensure equal height of each side's clamp top above the printer frame rail.
