Having observed the object for some time, I decided to experiment with it. However, as a Linux user who avoids Wine, I am unable to run Google SketchUp. Furthermore, I'm new to OpenSCAD, so I recreated the design using that software. Additionally, the original design was too large for my ToM printer. An update: the corner piece now qualifies as a '2-manifold'.
