A pen mount that includes a spring to avoid damaging the tip of a felt tip pen is handy for pen-based circuit board etch resist use. This design is inspired by a UniversalPenTouchProbe from reprap.org. You may need to drill out the hole (10mm) for smooth pen movement, hand-drill the ferrule hole (1.2mm), and refine the printed threads with a file. A spring taken from a retractable pen helps maintain slight downward pressure. Attach it to the X carriage using arhimed's Flexy Shaft holder for MENDEL available at thingiverse.com/thing:1832.
