Mendel Max Pellow Block Y-carriage

This Y-carriage is designed for use with standard Mendel Max 1.5 rails, featuring SCS8UU pillow blocks that support 100mm wide, 8mm diameter rails. It comes equipped with belt clamps for T2.5, 6mm wide belts. The pillow blocks are manufactured bearing blocks, including integral LM8UU bearings. To assemble, print out the instructions and prepare your materials. Clean out the holes in the carriage for the pellow mounts (4mm) and belt clamps (3mm). Cut a 230mm square piece of 5mm thick aluminum or plywood, marking the center and squaring the carriage mount holes. Drill these holes with a 4.5mm drill bit to accommodate M4 machine screws. Create a large central hole (50mm) for wiring clearance. Attach the aluminum plate to eight 50mm long M4 machine screws, securing it to the Y-axis rails. Gradually tighten all screws while moving the carriage back and forth for self-alignment. Finally, fully tighten the M4 screws, ensuring a light push is required for smooth movement.
