I thought I would share something I learned while working on my MM2: the little magnet-sensor for the Z-height endstop broke off. Seeing that no one in the world sells those sensors except RepRapDiscount, I ordered three of them just to fix the one I had broken. Thankfully, all was well until I realized the mounting plate wouldn't fit the new sensor. Fortunately, a quick adaptation could be made using an .STL file and Fusion360 to accommodate the different design. This file is available at http://www.reprapdiscount.com/electronics/18-set-hall-endstops3-pieces.html for those in need of it. To get started, all you need are some M3x12mm screws to pass through the existing holes; a nut may be added if desired for extra security. One additional step required was rejoining a connector wire since the original sensor had it hardwired. Additionally, I replaced the magnet from the old sensor with one of the newer and stronger magnets included in the shipment, which faced the opposite direction than the old installation.
