I'm designing a minimalist x carriage for the Mendel Max 1.5 using the E3D Chimera. My goal is to simplify the setup by employing only one set of bearings, but I'll need to wait and see if it works out in practice before making any conclusions. The duct is specifically designed for a 40mm fan. Once my printer is up and running smoothly again, I'll post an update on how everything turns out.
