Y Carriage Clamps Modified for Alloy Mendel's Y Axis Rods The Y carriage clamps have been altered from dkennell's thing 16076 design to accommodate two captive 4mm nyloc nuts, which are used to mount the 3mm thick alloy Y carriage. Additionally, a captive 4mm nyloc and pocketed head are included for clamping pressure on LME8UU linear bearings (16x25mm x 8mm bore). Three of these clamps are required per assembly, enabling easy removal of the carriage by simply removing the three clamp bolts and sliding out the linear bearings from their housings.
