Mendel I2 proximity sensor mount
thingiverse
Proximity sensor mount for Greg's X-Carriage allows mounting 18mm diameter 6-36V proximity sensors to enable auto bed leveling. I successfully used this specific sensor from Amazon and it worked flawlessly. Check out my printer in action at https://youtu.be/zFym7SAqkQk. To get this sensor up and running, simply hook it up to +12 and ground, and use a voltage divider to prevent damage to the input on the z endstop. Two versions are available: one that uses the center mount point and another that leaves space for a capscrew. I omitted the center screw due to lack of a long enough screw, allowing me to use the existing extruder screw and two unused mounts to hold the sensor securely in place. Printer Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: M Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Doesn't matter Infill: 15% or more Notes: This is extremely easy to print, with minimal risk of encountering any issues.
