Mendel Generic Power Supply Bracket

Generic Power Supply Bracket for Prusa Mendel This power supply bracket fits snugly between the center and end bars of my Prusa Mendel, with ample space for the power supply to sit on top. It's versatile enough to hold almost anything underneath the build plate. Update: I've upgraded this design by adding 5mm to its height, ensuring that even larger power supplies fit comfortably within it. My chosen power supply is the Uxcell 12V 20A model from Amazon, which costs less than $20. When combined with a new fine-tooth belt and Y stepper relocation, there's just enough room for it. To relocate my stepper motor, I used the design available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:21716. Pictures of the power supply in place show that the taller brackets have been installed successfully. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa Mendel I2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.25 Infill: 20% Notes: Supports are required if you print on end, as per the STL file provided. If your build plate is large enough, it's best to print this bracket on its side. How I Designed This This design was created using SketchUp.
