The given part in Adrian's Geared extruder was found to be weak after approximately 80 hours of usage. To enhance its durability, I increased its size where possible and stopped making the hole through it. Additionally, the length of the 4mm inlay-rod can now measure up to 38mm, extending until under the bolts. This redistribution of forces helps prevent excessive stress on the reprap parts by quickly transmitting loads to the bolts.
