Summary This is an enhanced version of Adrian's Geared extruder. The original part proved too weak, as it showed signs of wear after approximately 80 hours of use. In response, I redesigned this component to be stronger and larger where possible, relocating the hole to improve its structural integrity. The 4mm inlay-rod can now be longer, measuring up to 38mm, which allows it to extend underneath the bolts, effectively transferring loads directly to them rather than placing stress on the reprap parts. This redesign ensures that forces are quickly transmitted to the bolts for added stability and durability.
