Mendel Feet with feet
thingiverse
To enhance the original Mendel foot, combine it with a scaled version of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3088. This modification mates with the Mendel y-bar-clamp, eliminating the need for an additional part. The design is adorable! For assembly, print two left feet (feetwithfeetL) and two right feet (feetwithfeetR), plus four y-bar-clamps (https://reprap.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/reprap/trunk/mendel/mechanics/solid-models/cartesian-robot-m4/printed-parts/y-bar-clamp_10off.stl). Attach them to the Mendel and enjoy! The holes in the feet are designed for standard M4x40 bolts and M4 nuts. Secure the feet with y-bar-clamps to the lower two bars of your Mendel by inserting the nuts into the holes (you may need to clean the hole for proper fitment). Some users found that nuts were optional, as the m4 bolts could grip without them if the holes were sized correctly.
