This extruder fan ensures optimal cooling near the print nozzle while being fully adjustable in all directions. Mounted on older extruder heads, it points precisely where needed. However, if additional extruders are present, it may not work. The model supports a 40mm fan; search for 12V 40mm fans on eBay, with options like Evercool performing exceptionally well. Connecting to the controller board's fan output is recommended but direct connection to the 12V supply is acceptable. Adjust the fan height by adding washers under the bracket to maintain clearance. Ignore any slicer warnings and observe results. The model works for older Mendel prints heads, with a SCAD file provided for newer models; feel free to update it and share your experience.
