This article provides printable dinosaur models designed for attaching a Mendel-compatible extruder, such as Wade or Adrian's geared extruder, to your MakerBot. You can generate these dinos from OpenSCAD according to your specifications instead of using the provided STL files. The default height should work well with a standard MK4 extruder, but you may need to adjust it if using a shorter barrel. Additionally, the OpenSCAD script includes an offset variable to correct for any non-centeredness of your extruder. The default is set up for a Wade extruder's offset. A successful test mounting has been conducted on a MakerBot; however, the new extruder installation is yet to be completed.
