Mendel Extruder Bracket and Quick Release Spool Holder

This design caters specifically for early Reprappro Mendel builds, which often feature an abundance of redundant 8mm nuts on top bars and an inconveniently placed extruder on the side. By using this model, you can install a bracket to reposition your extruder onto the top bars and also create a holder for your filament spool. The spool holder is designed for 16cm diameter spools; however, a 20cm spool will fit albeit tightly. To remove the spool, simply flex the support brackets apart. The spool holder utilizes an old steel wardrobe clothes pole with an inside diameter exceeding 16mm, matching the size of protrusions on the support brackets. The extruder bracket incorporates pads to securely hold ABS prints, although these can be easily removed post-printing if necessary.
