Mendel Extruder Bottom Adapter

This adapter enables use of the makerbot-style plastruder tip on a Mendel. Positioned under the extruder stepper assembly, it features two holes resembling makerbot retaining disc spacing; however, one hole is 1mm closer to the center. The designer mimicked this design choice. Note that screw changes may be necessary due to increased depth when layering. Additionally, you might need to adjust the Mendel's extruder assembly by removing a bottom cylinder hole if using this piece. Before attaching the extruder tip, it's recommended to fit the piece to Mendel, as its x carriage is tight. Print in an upside-down orientation for proper fitting.
