Mendel Add on foot
thingiverse
To enhance my Prusa 3D printer, I adapted the parametric footed vertex (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4148) and created recesses for M8 nuts clearance on original vertices. Sorbothane bumpers were also added to silence the machine completely (http://www.amazon.com/Sorbothane-Rubber-Non-Skid-Adhesive-Durometer/dp/B003IMSIBA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1296534083&sr=8-1). For the SCAD file, I utilized the predefined left front and right rear versions or used the ones attached below. Screws were inserted into original holes using #6 1" self-tapping screws. I adjusted clearance holes to 15mm instead of editing configuration files. The license was maintained as per Prusa's original design, unsure about public domain usage in this context.
