Memphis "M" Bridge (Hernando de Soto Bridge)
myminifactory
I designed the Memphis "M" bridge in Fusion 360 with precision, not dwelling on unnecessary details but still achieving a satisfactory outcome. By leveraging the cables as supporting elements, I was able to forego additional structural supports during printing. Printing at a slow rate of 15-20 mm/s yielded successful results. However, some minor issues arose from overhangs when printed at standard scale. It is logical to assume that printing the structure larger than 200 mm wide would pose significant challenges. The two halves I printed independently measured approximately 150 mm each. I uploaded two models for your reference: a complete bridge and a half-bridge design.
