This is a memorial relief honoring Georg Lurich (1876-1920), a renowned Estonian professional wrestler. He was one of the most celebrated wrestlers in Estonia's history. The exact number of times Georg Lurich became World Champion remains unknown. This is because there was no international organization to oversee and coordinate major championships, so each championship was declared a World Championship. Georg Lurich set around 40 world records, as high-sport records were considered durable and vigorous at that time. Next to the relief, an inscription on the stone reads: "Georg Lurich, founder of Estonian wrestling sport and multiple world champion, born April 22, 1876 - died January 22, 1920."
