Memo Dispenser for a magnetic Bulletboard cnc/laser

I built one of my first projects with my CNC by creating a replacement for a DIY memo dispenser using a dovetailed construction. This innovative design can hold up to four pens and numerous small slips of paper. The dispenser is specifically designed to be used on a bulletin board, so I incorporated two neodymium magnets into the back panel. After a year of use, I revised the design by adding a lower back section that reduced material usage and painted it black to minimize visible marks from pens and pencils. This project was completed on a desktop CNC machine made by Stepcraft using 4mm poplar plywood with a 1.2mm flute spiral-toothed bit. To give it a finished look, I applied some spray paint and sanded the surface. A laser cutter could potentially be an alternative tool for rebuilding this design, allowing for even closer nesting. In my case, however, I optimized the layout to accommodate my machine's 30cm width. To explore more designs like this one, visit https://www.zenziwerken.de/en/.
