Memento Vivere Ring

I craft designs that tell a story, convey a message, and bring to life the tale of this ring born from the famous phrase "Memento Mori," remember you will die. When a victorious general marched into the city after a military triumph and paraded through the streets accepting accolades from the crowd, he was on the verge of being consumed by pride and an insatiable thirst for greatness. To prevent that from occurring, someone cautioned him with the words: "Respice post te. Hominem te memento" (Look behind you. Remember that you are a man). So I decided to create a ring bearing the opposite meaning "Memento Vivere," remember that you are still alive, and despite life's setbacks, you can emerge victorious. I chose this specific design because it was inspired by the rich culture and symbolism of Mexico's Day of the Dead celebrations. The skull adorned with snakes represents humanity's capacity to harness its full potential to overcome adversity.
