Meme Award
thingiverse
Ever have a thrilling conversation with a friend that turns unexpectedly epic when they break out some side-splitting memes that strike the perfect chord? Let's make sure that awesome behavior doesn't fly under the radar! Treat your friend to their very own MEME AWARD, and suddenly everyone will be talking about their online wizardry. I printed this fantastic award using EasyFil Dark Green 1.75mm PLA on a FolgerTech 2020 Prusa i3 - it's simply how the pros do things. Tunnel snakes rule, and we're the kings of tunnel snake behavior. Print Settings Rafts: We'll opt for a solid foundation without extra support material. Resolution: Do whatever brings you joy in life and print with complete abandon! Infill: Go slightly overboard with infill to get an outstanding surface quality if your top and bottom layers are thin enough. Trust me, it's worth the effort. Notes: When this thing prints out, crank up "Black Diamond" by Stratovarius on repeat to pump it up and push that printer through till the very end! You could also be brave and print this medal edge-on - if your 3D printer is capable of dealing with overhangs, you'll be amazed at how awesome it looks. Just remember, only those with a .4mm nozzle will silently suffer through subpar results - all that suffering though will definitely be worth it in the long run. Post-Printing Step 1: Slice that file into print-ready sections Step 2: Time to send this thing off to your 3D printer Step 3: Now's the moment of truth! Watch as the design springs to life and starts forming an actual physical reality. Step 4: This part might seem confusing at first - let's be honest, sometimes a bit too confusing, but that will become crystal clear later in our discussion! The Reward Let your awesome designs earn them well-deserved awards and accolades. Here's one example design we came up with to get you started:
