This is specifically designed for Melzi printer boards, including versions V1.0, 1.1, 1.2, and 2.0. Initially, there was only one model available for the melzi 2.0, requiring me to bend some pins out of position just to install it properly. This adapter can be screwed down securely, but I prefer its design which allows the board to slot over the screw posts, enabling easy removal without needing a screwdriver. It is engineered to work seamlessly with M2.5 screws that are 15mm or longer in length for the 40mm fan mounts and M2.5 to M3 adapters for the four mounting posts. The reinforced structure around the fans adds an extra layer of stability.
