Melting Disco Ball
thingiverse
This is a "melting disco ball" sculpture. I first modeled a soft body collision in Blender, exported the shape, split it in half and printed both sides. I then glued them together (after cutting a hole and adding something heavy to the back of both halves) and then covered in small mirrors. Looks great when the afternoon sun hits it.There are 3 STL files but you only need to print the A and B sides. The other file is a full blob in case you want to split it yourself into more than 2 parts.
