We lost our Melitta Caffeo Solo espresso maker's waste bucket by mistake, likely tossing it in the trash. We attempted to fix the issue using mzeitler's design, which worked temporarily but ultimately failed due to its loose fit and thick walls. As a result, coffee grounds spilled into the liquid collection tray. Our revised design provides a snugger fit that prevents such spills from occurring. To ensure optimal performance, print it in a material capable of withstanding heat from wet coffee grounds, such as ABS. Avoid using PLA, which will warp under these conditions. For maintaining hygiene and cleanliness, consider sanding and acetone smoothing the box to prevent buildup.
