My girlfriend will wear this Halloween costume I made just for her, inspired by Melisandre's iconic necklace from Game of Thrones. You can print it out in yellow or gold to make it shine, but spraying paint is another great way to give it a metallic look. Since small necks are where it fits best, you may want to resize it for larger ones - just a little bit. A simple tie at the back using string does the trick, securing the whole thing perfectly. Built with my Makerbot Replicator 2, I've got all the specs right here: PLA material, 225*C hotend, layer height of 0.12mm, 20% infill for strength and durability, plus two shell layers to give it a smooth finish. This baby prints fast - about 40 minutes is all you'll need to make this stunning necklace shine.
