Mek'Aar is a species from another world that long ago abandoned the frailty of flesh and completely transferred its Essences into mechanical bodies. A new faith compelled them to take this step, urging a total rejection of bodies and their vices. After fully transferring the Essences into mechanical bodies (Essences, not consciousness), the Mek'Aar people faced two critical issues: reproduction and limited resources. The energy reserves of their world were rapidly depleting when someone from another world offered assistance in exchange for their "services". Thanks to this arrangement, Mek'Aar gained the opportunity to travel between worlds. In these new worlds, they began to impose a rejection of flesh and transition to mechanical bodies. With fervent oratory, preachers of Mek'Aar prepared the minds of neophytes for a new body. And as soon as adepts renounced their past, it no longer mattered who or what they were before.
