The massive megalithic tomb still stands, its core structure remarkably intact. Four colossal capstones remain in place, anchored firmly by two imposing orthostats and a ring of seven sturdy kerbstones that once enclosed the entire site. Other orthostats from this very chamber are likely concealed within the earthy remains of the ancient barrow.
