I decided to tackle the current air stone market, where single air stones often come up short due to their lack of weight and noisy operation. To address this issue, I designed my own custom air stone / bubbler featuring a spacious pocket on the bottom that allows for secure attachment of personal weights. Using #9 lead shot, I glued it into place, resulting in an impressive total weight of over an ounce - more than enough to keep the bubbler firmly in position where I need it to stay. Additionally, the diffuser holes are carefully sized to produce medium to large bubbles, making this air stone relatively quiet compared to others on the market and capable of handling high airflow with ease.
