This tankard is a massive barrel-style design centered around a 5"x12" glass vase I got from Michaels. It can hold a whopping 96 fluid ounces, which is equivalent to 3/4 gallon or 2.84 liters of liquid. When filled to capacity, it tips the scales at over ten pounds. To print this barrel and handle, follow your usual procedure. However, when it comes time to glue the pieces together, using a methyl methacrylate plastic welder like Devcon Plastic Welder is absolutely crucial. Other types of glue, such as plastic epoxy, won't be able to withstand the weight of this massive container when it's full. The handle, top, and bottom sections have alignment pegs to ensure everything fits together perfectly - check out the example pictures above for a better understanding. Good luck with your project!
