The Megalydon Super Heavy Tank, a formidable predecessor to the Baneblade design hull, boasting an added transport capacity that set it apart from its contemporaries. Its presence on the battlefield during the Horus Heresy was short-lived, however, as the resources required to maintain its complex systems proved too great a burden for many Legions to bear. As the Heresy drew to a close, few remaining tanks of this design still rolled onto the battlefield, their numbers dwindling rapidly. The Megalydon's design, while revolutionary in its time, was not without its flaws, and it is likely that the designers will continue to refine and update the model in the coming years. In fact, several updates are already planned for the tank's design, including the addition of new cannon variations. These changes promise to enhance the Megalydon's already formidable capabilities, making it an even more potent force on the battlefield.
