This Jefferson's ground sloth (Megalonyx jeffersonii) claw cast was the very first fossil I ever got to 3-D scan. It came from Saltville, Virginia, and it was carefully scanned with a NextEngine Desktop 3-D scanner thanks to the Virginia Museum of Natural History.
