The Megaguirus of the AniGoji continuity is a species of giant dragonfly-like kaiju created by Toho that first appears in Godzilla: Monster Apocalypse, a prequel novelization for the 2017 film, Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters. Godzilla: Monster Apocalypse: Along with Rodan, Megaguirus, either as one individual or multiple individuals, had been attacking and preying on refugees crossing from Europe to Siberia, particularly near the Trans-Siberian Railroad. In 2036 or later, two refugees were rescued by Exif intervention after being attacked by Megaguirus. Exif shielded the Earthlings from the monster using its unarmed utility space ship designed for immigrants.
