MegaExtruder - Auger based playdoh extruder
thingiverse
This is a Playdoh MegaExtruder that utilizes an auger to propel the dough through shape templates. It boasts a kid-friendly crank geared down for effortless turning. The gearing is external and oversized, making it visually appealing for kids. The shoot-to-feed playdough mechanism resembles a food processor with a feed tube and plunger. Assembly relies on magnets, allowing for rapid dis-assembly. Ten extrusion templates are included, ranging from classic spaghetti to a ballerina dancer. A list of parts, printing tips, and basic assembly instructions can be found in the README file accompanying the downloadable files. Additionally, a .STEP file contains the entire assembly, enabling users to modify and refine it as needed. Please feel free to customize and release your own versions, ensuring that you link back to the original and adhere to the proper license. This design was created for my nephew as a Christmas gift, and he still enthusiastically enjoys playing with it.
