DIY adaptaion plate to convert the stock anycubic mega s (with ultrabase) from bowden tube to direct drive. Seen at youtube.com/watch?v=EYArfFzwspo where he uses a metal plate, I printed in petg and it seems to work well. Moves the stock extruder motor to the hotend carriage. My stock extruder says "XY" is turned 90degrees and different dimensions from thomasthecreator's one so check your measurements first. Wires need to be extended from stock 4wires for extruder add 2 feet length. 2 wires for filament sensor. should reduce retraction distance and pressure advance greatly. (settled at 1mm retraction, 30mm/s pla, 40mm/s petg) I used only two screws to attach plate to hotend carriage seems sturdy enough, added two #8 machine screws and 1/8" hex nuts. Added an alternate version which has the bottom edge chopped off as to be compatible with the my remixed hotend fanbox.
