Mega PinArt (8183 pins)
thingiverse
Hello, I'm glad to share my design with you. It's based on a great idea from MKSA, who suggested creating a large version of the cults3d model at a cost of $10 per download. I apologize for not having the same level of expertise as MKSA, but it was a solution that seemed worth exploring. If you need advice or guidance, I highly recommend reaching out to MKSA through their profile on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/MKSA/about I created this design by taking some inspiration from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3402410 and making it larger. The original design seemed too small for my taste, but I think the larger version will be more impressive. It measures 51.24cm x 52.585cm (512.4mm x 525.848mm) and has a whopping 8183 pins - yes, you read that right, eight thousand one hundred eighty-three pins! Printing this design will require some work from your printer, but I'm sure it's worth the effort. And who knows, maybe one day we'll see printers made in the USA again! For now, let's appreciate the fact that many of our printers are manufactured in countries like Uruguay, China, Mexico, Russia, and Germany. This design can be used as a grid for various devices or even as a standalone piece of art. I've included several formats, including STL for 3D printing and cdr, ai, dxf, eps, and svg for cutting plotters. Who knows, maybe someone will even create a wooden version! Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy printing this design!
