Mega Pentago (3x3)
thingiverse
Welcome to Mega Pentago! I designed this for the [Prusa Tabletop Games and Puzzles Contest](https://www.prusaprinters.org/contest/12-tabletop-games-and-puzzles). It's based off of [this design](https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/71762-pentago) from user [ziyay](https://www.prusaprinters.org/social/154142-ziyay/prints). The game design credits in general goes to the designer of Pentago, [Tomas Flodén](https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgamedesigner/5993/tomas-floden). At the time, I didn't know there already was a 3x3 Pentago board, and I wanted to make one for another game prototype I was working on, so I started off by making an alternative version of Pentago. ###Rules of Mega Pentago Follow the [regular Pentago rules](https://www.ultraboardgames.com/pentago/game-rules.php), taking turns placing a marble of your color, and then rotating one of the cups. In this version, you may also rotate the center piece. In Mega Pentago, the position where you placed your marble matters even more. If you place the marble in the top left corner of the cup, your opponent now has to place their next marble in the top left corner. If your opponent now place their marble in the center of that cup, you now have to place your next marble in the center cup. ###Alternative Versions Feel free to print out the marbles in multiple colors and use it to play [Pentago XL](https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/21012/pentago-xl).
