Mega Moto Clip
thingiverse
Introducing my first Thingiverse upload: a replacement belt clip for Motorola TalkAbout walkie-talkies. The original clip is hard to find, overpriced, and prone to breaking. Using broken clips and a cheap caliper, I designed a 3-piece kit that works perfectly after just four prototype prints! Share this design with others who need extra clips for their TalkAbout units. This kit includes the belt loop clip, plastic spring, and sliding jacket. Print all three pieces together to keep your walkie-talkie close at hand for crucial RF communications or a stylish look. The TOM Mk6 plastruder with 1.75mm nuclear green filament was used in printing this design. You'll find the necessary files for easy printing: Sketchup and STL formats for single clips, as well as Sketchup and STL files for three clips positioned correctly for automated build platforms. Due to "free air" parts, full support printing was required during the process. Get ready to make on Thingiverse!
